Craig Sibley and Trench Contemporary Art are pleased to announce MONOMANIA II: Vancouver Emerging. Presenting over 20 professional Vancouver-based artists from a variety of practises and mediums, the second bi-annual instalment of MONOMANIA is barometer of rising local talent. ‘MONOMANIA’, or the obsession with a single object/concept/idea, is cheekily adapted to mean an obsession with diversity multiplicity. What Trench is obsessing over is the astounding array of new talent happening in our city.

Exhibited in a salon style, the 1,000 square feet of Trench Gallery is transformed into a totalizing art experience. Each work and artist brings their own unique qualities and formulates a dialogue of inclusion and collaboration. MONOMANIA reaches beyond a singular theme or concept to present an invigorating array of artists living and creating in Vancouver.

Artists exhibited include: Kuh Del Rosario, Ali Ahadi , Natalie Tan, Mike Bourscheid, Hyung Min Yoon, Janice Wu, Ed Spence, Adrienne Rempel, Gabriel Dubois, DRIL, Evan Broens, Monika Lovenmark, Rebecca Donald, Anna Wood, Jen Aitken, Tonik Wojtyra, Karen Lam, Sarah Gee, Michael Jones, Shelly Penfold, Sean Mills, Lauren Marsden, Eric Lowe, Maya Beaudry, Patrick Cruz, Tristan Unrau
